Hey there pottery fans and craft fair goers! This Labor Day weekend, Su Chi Pottery will be at the 48th Annual Mad River Valley Craft Fair in Waitsfield, Vermont. I’ve been attending this fair for at least five years. And its one of my favorites because of the concentrated number of top notch artists- yes, my buddies and pals- wood workers, jewelers, chocolatiers, hat makers and more. I’m planning on shopping (for myself) and for the holidays, just saying… you can, too.
This beautiful show is nestled between deep and steep mountains in Kenyon’s Field. For directions click here. Check the weather and dress appropriately so you can linger longer and be happy. The Craft Fair is a rain or shine event, 10 am to 5 pm
New Su Chi products at this fair: garlic infusers, mugs, sugar bowls
As a destination event for the entire family, there will be four bands, free kids’ bounce house, demonstrations, door prizes, seated massage, Facebook Shopping Spree contest and the “Man Cave” that welcomes all adults 21 and older to relax in a spacious tent with couches and games where you can taste spirits or purchase a cocktail or beer from Mad River Distillers. On Saturday listen to Green Mt. Swing (morning) and Phineas Gage (afternoon) and on Sunday Colleen Mari & Friends (morning) and Amerikana Blue (afternoon).
